I'm not one that usually promotes anything pre-made but the older I got the more I realised the value in them. Now if you have the time and energy to make your own teriyaki sauce then kudos to you, but for me, the jarred stuff is a life saver. When I'm having one of those days, I still want to eat good with minimal fuss. This sticky salmon teriyaki recipe is quick to make without compromising flavour.

Sticky Teriyaki Salmon
Serves 2
Ingredients
240g salmon (2 fillets)
2 tbsp readymade teriyaki sauce
1 tbsp hot sauce (use whichever one you prefer)
1 tbsp of ponzo soy sauce (or soy sauce of choice)
1/2 tbsp honey
1 or 2 cloves of minced garlic (add to your preference)
1/2 tbsp of chilli flakes
salt and pepper to taste
Method
In a bowl mix together: teriyaki sauce, hot sauce, soy sauce, honey, garlic, chilli flakes, salt and pepper.
Place the salmon on an oven try and pour the sauce over the salmon.
Cook the salmon for 20 minutes in the oven at 180°C electric or 160°C fan.
Serve with rice and vegetables of your choice
